Bayside Health Regional Care Group is looking for a motivated Sonographer to join our dedicated and friendly Medical Imaging team at the Leongatha Hospital on a permanent basis.

You will be an integral member of the Medical Imaging Department, supported by experienced Sonographers and a team of exceptional Radiologists.

Your primary responsibility will be the provision of high-quality ultrasound services to the South Gippsland community. You will report directly to the Radiology Manager. The Medical Imaging Department is situated over two campuses and provides CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, and bone densitometry at Leongatha. A satellite department is located at Korumburra and provides X-ray and ultrasound services.

This role provides you with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to participate in the education of Student Sonographers.

A full range of ultrasound examinations are performed including 3D obstetrics and gynaecology, liver elastography, vascular ultrasound, MSK ultrasound and interventional procedures.

The equipment is state-of-the-art and includes two new Philips Epiq Elite systems and a Canon Aplio 500 machines.
