The opportunity

Xplore Radiology is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team in Griffith and Leeton, NSW. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services to our patients. This is a full-time position based in Griffith/Leeton however consideration may be given for part time for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of sonographic examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecology, and vascular procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all sonographic findings
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sonographic techniques and technologies

What we’re looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Current registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
